The Stimpson Award Special Event

The City Club of Boise's prestigious Stimpson Award for Civic Engagement is given to an individual or group of individuals that exemplify the spirit of civil discourse by bringing together people with diverse viewpoints to address complex issues in a civil manner with the intent of finding mutually agreeable solutions.

City Club of Boise is proud to honor the work of Dr. Bob Kustra. During his 15 year tenure, Dr. Kustra’s leadership transformed Boise State University into a Metropolitan Research University of Distinction and created the Colleges of Innovation and Public Service. Dr. Kustra is personally known throughout the Treasure Valley for the weekly public radio program he created and hosts, Reader’s Corner.

At this special evening event enjoy a unique experiences silent auction, no host bar, and inspired hors d’ oeuvres at Jack's Urban Meeting Place in the heart of downtown Boise on Tuesday, November 13th, 2018. 

Starting at 4:30 pm, attendees can bid on silent auction experiences. Bidding will conclude at 5:30pm prior to our evening presentation.

PARKING: Paid parking is available on the 3rd and 4th levels of the JUMP parking garage or in Simplot's below ground parking garage, both accessible from the Myrtle Street entrance located between 11th and 9th Streets. Please note, the below ground parking garage is only available after 4PM until 6AM on weekdays and all day on weekends. Credit/debit cards accepted only.

Paid parking is also avilable inthe 9th street garage on the corner of 9th and Front Street.
